We have compiled a checklist for users of BlastWizard for AppExchange because BlastWizard automatically imports certain information from Saleforce.com account so you dont have to type them in when you create your email campaign. You bet thats a time saver ! Please take a few minutes to go through the checklist and follow the suggestions. You may want to leave this window open for reference and go back to Salesforce account to do the following - 1. Update your basic information in your User Profile: Go to Setup/Personal Setup/ My Personal Information and ensure that the following fields have valid information Now that you have done this you can use merge codes in your template to automatically sign your emails with your personal contact information ! 2. Ensure you can see the Boomerang Custom fields in Task Page Layout: Go to Setup/App Setup/Customize/Activities/Task Page Layout and add all the boomerang custom fields to the task layout if they are not already there. Please refer to the customization guide for detailed instructions incase you skipped this step during installation. 3. 'View All Data' Permissions: Please ensure that your Salesforce User Profile has 'View All Data' permission. Salesforce requires that you have this permission in order to permit integrating applications like BlastWizard to write data back to your account like the Activity History. This is a must have if you are the only user of the application. If there are multiple users from your organization, it is not required for all users to have this permission as we understand different organizations like to structure access rights differently. A single user who has this permission will be able to update activity history for the entire organization. 4. Verify additional emails: If you are planning to send marketing emails, say from 'newsletter@boomerang.com', you should verify the email address first. Its a simple one step process: Once you login into salesforce, click on BlastWizard tab. Go to My Account section and you can verify additional emails there. 5. Multiple Users Setup: If you have multiple users from your organization who would also like to access BlastWizard, no problems! BlastWizard automatically senses new users from your organization and upgrades your BlastWizard account to Professional Edition. With additional users come additional support needs, and as such Boomerang charges $10 per additional user per month. Of course the original user is still free. Please remember that anyone who clicks on the BlastWizard for AppExchange account is created a user account in our systems and is counted as an additional user.
