How do I delete records from my list?
Answer
You can delete individual records from a list in the following way:
1. Click on "Lists" in the left hand nav bar
2. Find the list that you are interested in editing, and click on "edit" next to the list name
3. Use the "Narrow Search" feature to find the records that you would like to delete
4. Then just check off the box next to the record that you would like to delete and click on "Delete Selected"
If you want to delete records from a list that is already part of a pending job, the process is a bit different:
1. Go to Jobs - Pending Jobs in the left hand nav bar
2. Locate the job that you want to edit and click on "Edit"
3. In the top section of the next page you'll see "Job Roster" and a link adjacent to it that says "Click here to Edit". Click on that link.
4. Use the "Narrow Search" feature to find the records that you would like to delete
5. Then just check off the box next to the record that you would like to delete and click on "Delete Selected"
Finally, if you want to suppress a bunch of people without going through the manual process of finding and deleting them in the manners described above, you can actually upload a whole list of people using the list upload mechanism. Once the list has been uploaded you'll see that list available in both the "Lists" section and in the "Suppression List" section below. When you go to set up your job you can select your original list and the suppression list, and those that exist on both lists will be excluded (or suppressed) from that mailing.
