What is the "Delayed Retry"?

The Automated Delayed Retry mechanism is the latest upgrade that Boomerang has made to our Bounce Handling and Deliverability suite of services. Boomerang engineers are constantly monitoring and researching new bounce trends and patterns, and recently they noticed an increasing amount of bounces that were eventually delivered after an initial failure, but that required a deliberate delay between the time that the email is originally attempted and the successful re-try.
